TUFLOW Executable

Official releases of the TUFLOW engine can be downloaded from the links below. Use of the TUFLOW engine implies agreement to the terms and conditions outlined in the TUFLOW Licence Agreement. A hardware lock (dongle) is required to execute the TUFLOW engine (contact us to make an inquiry).

New features in a release are described in Chapter 10 of the TUFLOW Manual.

Release Notes lists any reported problems and work arounds on recent TUFLOW builds.

Note: Interim TUFLOW releases and some previous official releases may also be available. Use of an interim (under development) releases are regarded as Beta versions, and as such, have a higher risk that they may contain software bugs. Use of these releases is on the condition that the user acts as a Beta tester and works constructively with WBM by reporting any bugs or problems. It is recommended that only experienced TUFLOW users use interim releases.

Note: Prior to and including Build 2004-06-BA, the TUFLOW engine comprises only one file: TUFLOW.exe.

Note: Builds after 2004-06-BA consist of two or more files: TUFLOW.exe and one or more DLLs. The DLLs must be in the same folder when TUFLOW.exe is initiated. For those using the ISIS-TUFLOW link, you will require the DLLs to be in the same folder as the ISIS-TUFLOW executable. When placing on your computer or network, or archiving, it is recommended to make a folder containing the Build ID and store all the files in the folder.

2008 Release

The 2008 release has three versions (see Section 5.2 of the 2008 TUFLOW Manual). Please note that the Compaq Fortran version is being phased out and should only be used for established models wanting to utilise new features.

Dongle Drivers.003.zip (1.4MB)
(Uploaded 14/4/2008. It is recommended that all users uninstall then reinstall their dongle drivers using Dongle Drivers.003.zip. There maybe a need to remove all existing occurrences of the file wdrvr.dll before reinstalling. The only change from the 002 drivers is an updated wdrvr.dll file that fixes a rare problem that causes an incorrect dongle serial number to be returned causing TUFLOW to stop.)
