Utilities
The utilities below are DOS executables, MapBasic applications, Excel macros, etc that are useful for a variety of pre and post processing of TUFLOW models and results. They are provided as freeware, and it is the user's responsibility to validate any output from the utilities. They have all been tested and are generally in regular use by BMT WBM staff and others, however, no guarantee is provided that they perform as intended.
Documentation is provided in Chapter 11 of the TUFLOW Manual. For DOS executables, double clicking on the .exe displays a brief description.
New releases and new utilities will be posted on this web site from time to time. Announcements of new uploads will posted on the TUFLOW Forum. Old or redundant utilities maybe withdrawn without notification.

TUFLOW Tools.V2.xls (58Kb) (Uploaded 11/12/2008)
Includes a new feature that saves all sheets within a .xls workbook to .csv files, is compatible with Excel 2000, 2003 and 2007, and gets around a strange bug in Excel that on some computers always save the last sheet irrespective of the sheet highlighted.

Enhancements/Bug fixes from 2007-10-AA: New -wld option to convert .tab files of registered MapInfo Images to a .wld file (for more info click here); Bug fix that omitted writing out values at the cell centres if using the -mif -grid options and the grid spacing was exactly half the 2D cell size.
Bug fixes since 2007-07-AA: Now correctly processes the -lp and -cp options if -mif specified; now correctly reads Header.mif file when using a .bat file (Click here for more details); Fixed bug detailed here.

(New features/bug fixes since 2006-10-AA include: -grid<spacing_m> option to output mif data on a regular grid; fixed bug that output structure invert and obverts in -lp .csv file around the wrong way; fixed bug that incorrectly raised 1D Z values by the 10m vertical offset rather than reducing them - the 10m offset allows the 1D results to display more clearly in SMS; better recognition of 1D channel inverts - this requires a .2dm file from TUFLOW Build 2007-03-AB or later.)
